Turkey day, shopping and illness......

Thanksgiving was very low key this year. We spent a quiet day at David's parent's home. His sister and her kids were there as well. All of the cousins played together all day. After a long day visiting and eating we headed home in preparation for Black Friday. I did cash in on some deals, but decided to forgo the in store insanity this year.
Later in the day Thomas got sick. Then, today Phoebe, Hannah, Calliope & Sam all got sick. My father in law called and said they had 4 sick in their home as well! It's going to be a really long weekend, and not in a good way.

Gooma......

Well, most in the boutique world knows what BabyGassyGooma is. I love their stuff! This lady was the original embellished overalls girl! Who can forget her "HO HO" overalls. Baby gooma just finshed their "gooma girl" search. We couldn't help but think our Phoebe would be a perfect fit for the company. But, as I knew beforehand, thousands entered the competition. She wasn't chosen, but it was a great experience and lots of fun to take some new headshots of my sweetie pie! Maybe next time.

School is going great! All of the kids seem to be adjusting very well. Thomas has decided that he is "big" to go all day, so that means more one on one time w/Phoebe before the new guy shows up. She is loving it! She definately would have made a great only child!

I am putting the finishing touches on the Halloween decoupage jeans and bows, the baby's room and the girls' rooms.

First Day of School......

Today was the first day of school for my middle kids. (Max, Sam, Hannah, Isabel, Calliope & Thomas). It was Thomas' first day at pre-k (Montessori) and he was devastated when I picked him up early. He didn't realize that he was only attending half a day. So tomorrow, he will stay all day and we will see how he does. He loved school so much, I didn't even get a photo this morning. He hopped out of the car and never looked back!

Phoebe loved all the quiet and attention she got. It's too bad she only get's to the be only child for 3 more weeks. That's right, unless something else happens, we will induce on the 6th of Sept. So, she has my undivided attention until then.

Preparation is the word!

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our newest family member! He should be here anytime between now and Labor Day. I have been busy rearranging the house, fixing things, painting, sorting baby clothes and driving my family nuts. Next week expect to see my Halloween and Fall items in my Etsy store and on Ebay.

Newest Project!

Hello, and welcome to the opening of my newest project, the Gooseberries Boutique Blog. I am pleased to be expanding my business and adding new items for sale. I recently opened my store on Etsy and have joined the Etsymom group. I am loving this new format. I will continue to sell on Ebay, where I have made lots of friends and loyal customers. I will continue to stay with Faeryhill Boutique design group in both places, as I love the collective style of the group and everyone is so nice. I will be adding my Halloween and Fall items in the coming weeks, I have been very busy! Also, look for my newest line "Petit Précieux", a specialty line of luxe baby shower gifts.
